Model and Client Information

Thank you for your interest in working with me. Here I've put together some helpful information for you that will help make the most of our shoot.

When you are ready to schedule a shoot, please contact me and let me know as much as possible about your interest. This includes theme, setting, number of people in the shoot, desired output (prints, CD, web etc) and when you would like to do the shoot.

I understand and appreciate that there are a lot of different lifestyles and interests in this world. In that light I am very open with the subject matter that I shoot, so please do not hesitate to let me know what you are interested in. I also appreciate the fact that no single photographer will be the ideal choice for every photo assignment, so an open dialog is important to ensure a good match between photographer and subject(s).

For models looking to add to their portfolio, TFP/TFCD will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional consideration is given to models with a unique or non-standard approach to their portfolio (being a little different is never a bad thing). For TFCD work models will receive a CD/DVD copy of all saved pictures. The CD will also contain a folder with the finished pictures (number based on the agreed to package / offering). In lieu of a CD, images may be provided via a web based photo sharing service (controlled access). Final disposition will be agreed upon by all parties prior to the shoot.

I shoot a lot of the traditional head-shot / studio setting in a home studio. However, most of my equipment is mobile so I am able to shoot on location (client's home, fields, offices etc.). It all depends on what the scene calls for.

Following the shoot please allow approximately 7-10 business days for processing. Delivery options include CD/DVD, web and print formats. Printed copies typically are produced in 5-7 business days following the client’s approval of the softcopy images. Any printed material other than standard images (i.e. posters, books, gallery wraps etc.) may take longer.

While I retain the full copyright license for all pictures, I will typically grant the client(s) a Attribution/Non-Commercial/No Derivatives Creative Commons license (see http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/legalcode for more information). Other license arrangements can be discussed on a case by case bases.

Payment: All shoots require a 50% non-refundable deposit (which will be applied to your final balance) due at the time the shoot is scheduled. The remaining balance is due the day of the shoot. Receipt of the deposit will confirm the time/date of the shoot.

If you need to cancel your shoot for any reason, you must contact me at least 48 hours in advance. If this happens your deposit will be credited to a future shoot. Otherwise, canceled / no-show’s will forfeit their deposit.

For individual sessions you are welcome to bring 1 escort / chaperon to the shoot. Who you bring is your choice but please remember that your escort may not interfere with the shoot and may be excused if they jeopardize the schedule or rhythm of the session. For any model under the age of 18, their escort must be a parent / legal guardian.

Depending on the requirements of the shoot, I may have 1-2 other assistant with me to help with lights/props/make-up etc.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
